I’ve read an interesting article entitled “How to make happiness impossible” by Steve Simms and I really like the quote from Augustine – “Man wishes to be happy even when he so lives as to make happiness impossible.”

You might be a victim of impossible happiness if you’re doing any of the following things in your life:

• Create guilt
• Stay self-focused
• Have no purpose
• Refuse to forgive others
• Engage in self-destructive behaviors
• Compare yourself to others
• Have little or no self-discipline
• Look down on others
• Wallow in addiction
• Cultivate and entertain fear
